We live a life of seasons and in this case I’m referring to personal seasons of one’s life.  According to Ecclesiastes 3, it speaks of there being a time for everything and that is very important that we know.  There are people in life that seem to always be in a season of emotional distress and hurt that it never seems to get better.  I simply want to tell you that it does get better.  However it is going to take more than simple fait, but it is going to take action and a willing spirit to conquer that “Giant” in your life.

If life was always easy going we wouldn’t be able to appreciate the good and be humble.  So when the rain falls in your life and distorts your vision you just can’t give up that quickly.

I myself have wanted to give up on life on multiple occasions, but I learned that I’m just in a season of my life in which things are not the way that I want them to be.  For instance,  when I went to Atlanta for this fashion show, I went with great expectations, but when I got there everything was not what I expected.  I was hurt simply because I was doing something that I love and it was not like what I expected.  When I got back home I was able to talk to my modeling mentor who really encouraged me to keep my head up.  I was at a point in my life in which I wanted to give up on all my dreams and settle for mediocrity.  It is going to take perseverance and having great people in your corner to overcome obstacles and conquering that which come up against you.

I’m simply saying do not give up just because the season that you are in does not seem to help you progress.  There’s a time for everything.  Conquer the giant in your life.  Use that obstacle as a stepping stone and be one step closer to reaching your goals.  Live your life like you want and it was made for.  Remember, you are blessed with a gift that has to be utilized.
